Introudction of retrievable Safety Joint
The 7" x 10000 psi retrievable Safety Joint is the optional backoff tool of DST work string in the well testing service. When the test packer is stuck during the testing operation, the retrievable safety joint is able to disconnect the drill string above the packer, the 7" retrievable safety joint made of Inconel steel with 10000 psi working pressure can be used in full H2S DST service.

Operation of the tension safety joint
When running the tension Safety Joint with Tubing Conveyed Perforating, calculate the string weight below the RTTS Safety Joint. The string weight below the tension Safety Joint should not exceed 30% of the tension Safety Joint tension sleeve rating.
